First...my blog..why?
At the point I am making this bio, the counter on my desktop shows: "193 days, 4 hours, 21 minutes, 14 seconds"

This timer counts down to when New York Comic Con, 2009 starts. An even where I am going, cosplaying as Avatar Aang, from "Avatar - The last air bender."

I'm going to post the things that happen in my life during those 193 days, including work, school, and stuff I do to get ready for the NYCC.

About me.

Ok, for the people that don't know me:
I am Kyle van Hoogen, born in June 1990, and a Dutchman in heart and blood! (Damn proud of it as well.) I go to the "ROC of Amsterdam Airport", where I study "Aviation operations".

Aviation what? Ever seen those people, in big yellow jeeps, and bright yellow shirts, on the platform of an airport? Ill be their supervisor. Basically a plane drives into the gate, turns of the engines, pulls on the brake. Those funny wheel chokes get placed, and as soon as that happens, the plane is called "On blocks".

Once its "On blocks" Its MY aircraft, and MINE only. I get to do whatever I want with it, as long as its ready to fly within schedule. That also means that I'm in big trouble if something inst correct.

My work? I'm a crew trainer at the local McDonalds. Now, a week ago I had someone insulting my job, so I'll tell that being a crew trainer isn't the most easy job.

Basically, at work, we've got levels: "Crew member" ("Senior crew member" (There isnt a real difference, ranking wise, but there is some sort of separation between Crew Members, and Senior's, who have more respect, and more tasks)) "Crew Trainer // Host/Hostess" and finally, Manager.

Depending on my shift (Taking orders at the "counter" or "Kitchen") I am responsible for that production zone, with the manager being responsible for both zones (Kitchen and counter.) I make sure every one lives up to the Mc Donalds standards, while I work hard myself, making sure every one gets their menu's within 210 seconds. Also, I have to train the crew members, do a lot of administration for training, and do basic management.

My favorite past times are mainly gaming and virtual flying. Why aren't Gaming and Virtual flying in the same tab? Virtual flying isn't gaming. Its like flying in real, using real charts, real routes, real communications, and real procedures. While Gaming is well...gaming.

Another of my favorite past times, is Avatar. It's a "kids show" on Nick, but I can't see it as a Kid show. Nobody from The avatar portal can. The Avatar Portal is a fan site, for which I run the Live Radio stream. It's called Breath of the Dragon Radio, and its the ONLY live radio for the Avatar fandom.

Also, I practice the Chinese Martial Art, Bagua Zhang. Admitted: I don't have a sifu, but there are no real Bagua Zhang sifu's in the Dutchlands.
